Job Description: Marketing Allrounder
Approx 30 hours per week
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. We sell high-end, on-trend homewares in Australia and the USA. Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and Monitor Klaviyo Automations: Design, set up, and monitor automated marketing workflows in Klaviyo to enhance customer experience and drive sales conversions.
Segment and Target Audiences: Develop a deep understanding of our customer base and use segmentation strategies to tailor email campaigns for maximum relevance and impact.
Write and Produce Email Campaigns and Newsletters: Craft compelling and engaging email content that resonates with different customer segments. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
Manage Social Media Platforms: Take ownership of our social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Create, curate, and schedule content to increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility.
Monitor Website Sales and Delivery Efficiency: Regularly review website sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure timely and efficient product delivery. Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Customer Interaction: Liaise with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience from order placement to delivery.
Website Content Updates: Maintain and update website content to reflect current products, promotions, and relevant information. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all website content.
Collaboration: Work closely with the founder of the business and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
Coordinate Marketing Campaigns: Create assets for and execute marketing campaigns.
Skills and Qualifications:
Creative Copywriting: You need to be able to write compelling onboard content for product descriptions, campaign material, social media, and more. If writing is not one of your core strengths this role will not be for you.
Design Experience: Ability to use design programs and create aesthetically pleasing graphics that are output suitably for their desired use.
Marketing Acumen: Basic understanding of marketing principles
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), social media management tools (Tailwind), and content management systems for website updates.
Social Media Proficiency: Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) with a focus on growing followers and engagement. Social media ad experience is a bonus.
Search Experience: Experience in SEO or paid Google will be appreciated.
Customer-focused: A commitment to ensuring excellent customer experiences, addressing inquiries, and solving problems promptly and professionally.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring campaign performance, website content, and order delivery to maintain high-quality standards.
Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
Organizational Skills: Strong time-management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to marketing and sales strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant tertiary education or coursework
Prior experience in a similar marketing role or for a similar company
