We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Specialist tojoin our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing remote support for all areas of IT. You will remotely update systems as needed,troubleshoot problems, and provide remote support for IT issues within our organization.

IT Support Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
Keep systems up-to-date as required for all external systems, and monitor the status of internal automatically processed updates to the Operating Systems and all associated software, utilizing Ninja RMM and Manage Engine Desk Central.
Monitor availability, performance and connectivity of our remote systems.
Assist with the implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
Monitor web performance and availability / status of our Office 365 and other cloud-based products utilizing Microsoft Admin Tools.
Assist in troubleshooting and finding solutions for system/software errors.
Provide help desk support for a variety of issues, utilizing SpiceWorks Help Desk and Manage Engine Help Desk.
Provide technical support phone, with remote access tools.
Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software,networking, etc. and implement remote remedies as required.
Evaluate connectivity issues, and investigate causes and solutions.
Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc. as needed.
Remotely set up work desktop environments for new users.
Monitor data backups and report failures as they occur.
Assist with computer repair/troubleshooting software,networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more, utilizing remote support tools.

Basic Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification or other related IT professional certification; meet all state required licensure/certification.
Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced professional environment.
Previous experience in a remote support position in the ITfield.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory for on-premises domains.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Goal-oriented, organized team player.
Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software,and upgrades.
Must have own reliable transportation.
Have the ability to get under a desk, lift up to 30 pounds,or climb a standard 6-foot ladder as needed.
