The Opportunity

The Facilities Clerk will assist with daily Facilities operations for a multi-campus environment.

  • Coordinate work orders and tasks associated with the delivery of building service operations; assist with daily general office duties and processes for copiers, mail sorting, shipping and receiving, package tracking, food and beverage etc.
  • Operational office support including but not limited to payment request vouchers, expense reports, FedEx, account reconciliation, preventive maintenance assistance calling support on machines and equipment for repairs, orders and user access, document management, room scheduling, audio video and security/access control.
  • Maintaining common office supply inventory; first aid, toner, coffee rooms, paper products, supplies, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma and 5+ years of related experience. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages. Above average writing skills are preferred. Must handle inquiries, requests and present information in a professional manner. Ability to learn and apply varied computer programs utilized in bid preparation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, able to be on your feet for extended period of time, and perform frequent bending and repetitive motions.
