Sabra &Associates Inc.; a Mead & Hunt company, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for an entry-level traffic engineer to work within our transportation team. Responsibilities include analyzing multi modal traffic data collected; performing traffic analysis, using HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA and other tools; supporting public-sector clients with regards to congestion management strategies,development of on-road bike lanes, bus-only travel lanes, signal optimization,traffic impact studies for new developments, pedestrian safety improvements,new traffic control devices, and other traffic-related and multi modal projects.Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: traffic analysis;traffic simulation software; technical writing; data analysis. The ideal candidate will also have passed the FE Exam.
