The person in this position functions to provide clerical, office, and customer support within the Division of Certification Services to ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. The individual must become knowledgeable of the certification process and be able to provide technical support for applicants.
Work schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Primary functions in this role are to manage a high volume of applications which need to be prepared for review by evaluators. The individual must be able to research applicant information in the Teacher Information Management System (TIMS), contact applicants, and complete all necessary prep work so that applications can be evaluated in a timely manner. The individual must also be able to use a scanner to scan materials, process payments, remedy request from applicants, and answer phones to assist applicants who have questions regarding the certification process. Processing payments includes reconciling money orders and credit card payments as well as research payment information when necessary.
